… and then; BOOM! A whole week has passed since last time I posted to you guys! I finally got to drop by and pick up the latest SVA were I’ve worked on an editorial called;
Yesterday was nothing but amazing! In fact…
… it was a very long day, but SO worth it in the end!
We had a whole day at the L’Oréal Academy with Redken and the other brands, jamming class sessions for the company I work in; Adam og Eva. It’s re-e-e-eally hectic as we work with the tightest agenda we ever have helding classes, but also a l-o-t fun because of the same fact!
Let’s not waste any time…
No. #1 highlight this week…
… was definately the video-shoot with the Norwegian dvd and blu ray based video magazine; KLIPP.
I remember when I started in this business all the way back in 2004, as an assistant at Hetty’s Frisør; we had those DVD’s laying on a shelf at the staff room, and I watched them, one by one;
I recall I so eagerly longed for me to really get started with my career, attending beauty-school and moving on with all of my dreams; I remember I vaguely were dreaming that I hopefully one day would be as skilled and lucky to be picked to make a contribution to the inspiring magazine…
Just arrived back from Vegas and…
… while I’m unpacking all the Redken stuff I bought (yes; that’s what i did for shopping!) I’m really recaping all the stuff we experienced over there;
AMAZING!
Then the 1st prep day ended, and…
… after 15 hours of standing on your feet and doing hair, it’s just really nice to get a descent meal and put yourself on your back on the bed. As we’re putting a big show together and don’t want to blow it, I can’t post anything from the backstage area -I promise; there will be pictures later…
Sleep tight, guys…
I have a secret I haven’t…
… told you guys about! I’m leaving for Las Vegas! It’s the annual Redken Symposium for 2015, and I’m going to be doing hair on the Grand Opening on sunday the 25t –I’m thrilled, excited and scared to death at the same time! The audience is about 10.000 salon proffessionals –I’m just saying… jeeez…!
They say all good things…
… comes in three, and I have to say; I think that’s about it!
Here’s the last one! I really like posting this one bye one, as some times I find that some pictures beat eachother to death -not that I find that these one does, but I just want to givre you the calm to watch one at a time, and not over expose you…
Nominated or not, I’m really happy about them and I had so much fun while we made them! Also for this shoot, I were really lucky to be surrounded with really good professionals that brought the hair out to another level, adding their skills on their area of expertise!
Thank you so much guys for helping me with this! I could NOT have done this without you!
Creating pictures is like designing; you need to have all the elements working together; shape, lines and function.
