Then the 1st prep day ended, and…

… after 15 hours of standing on your feet and doing hair, it’s just really nice to get a descent meal and put yourself on your back on the bed. As we’re putting a big show together and don’t want to blow it, I can’t post anything from the backstage area -I promise; there will be pictures later…

Sleep tight, guys…

One of my daily and most important focuses…

…is to always stay inspired and keep my mind in a positive state of mind. It’s really funny how much easier it’s to write that down, than to keep that in mind on an everyday basis. Growing up as a kid that were bullied a lot at school, and then later on suffering from a depression in my late teens that scared the shit out of my parents, I truly know how important it is to stay in a good, both physical and psychological, condition. Especially working in the environment I work in, as a hairdresser dealing with other people, and creative as an artistic session stylist.

It feels like…

… I put my ass on the NYC’s MTA (or subway as in other parts of the world), went across the Atlantic and then just continued with the fast forward speed it’s running by! I guess that’s what they call success; when you’re so busy that the days are just flying by as you were sitting on the MTA and looked out through the window; it feels like a blur, and when you think about it; what did you actually run by…?! Finally got to sit down for a little while before continuing with everything that has to be done, I went through a couple of pictures from the Global Mentorship Program, and so I wanted to tell you a little bit more about my trip to my favorite metropolis…

So for my future…

… to be, it could be a lot of things. It strikes me, especially when on a holiday like easter is, it’s kind of a travel-for-thought; it’s the kind of a holiday which is quite enough to let you think, but open to a lot of possibilities; in no other way but positive,
it turned into something I wouldn’t expect it to be. I’ve told you guys earlier that there has been a lot of death in my family these last couple of years, and it leaves you to a certain state of mind where and/or how, to value what you’ve got and what you want for your life and future. A couple of days back, we went up north to help my grandma clean out her moms’ ( my great grandma’s) house; it put things in perspective -you know; going down that memory-lane, memories coming back up. A part of all of those things I experienced as a kid, led to who I am today, so I’m just really utterly thankful for that! Beauty and inspiration comes from a lot of places and happenings in your life…
