They say all good things…

… comes in three, and I have to say; I think that’s about it!

Here’s the last one! I really like posting this one bye one, as some times I find that some pictures beat eachother to death -not that I find that these one does, but I just want to givre you the calm to watch one at a time, and not over expose you…

Nominated or not, I’m really happy about them and I had so much fun while we made them! Also for this shoot, I were really lucky to be surrounded with really good professionals that brought the hair out to another level, adding their skills on their area of expertise!

Thank you so much guys for helping me with this! I could NOT have done this without you!

Creating pictures is like designing; you need to have all the elements working together; shape, lines and function.

It’s a great New Year and…

…allready I’m piled up in work! New Year always start with a boost -in fact I find it kind of refreshing! Why linger with stuff you need to jump on anyway?! But of course; I love it! You know me…

I yet have to show you guys my pictures which I made for The National Norwegian Hairdresser of The Year in the category Hairdresser of The Year. As I weren’t nominated for them, I haven’t rushed to publish them either as I had other stuff to show you, but tah-dah!

Here they are! Nominated or not, I’m really happy about them and I had so much fun while we made them! Also for this shoot, I were really lucky to be surrounded with really good professionals that brought the hair out to another level adding their skills on their area of expertise! Thank you so much guys for helping me with this! I could NOT have done this without you!

Creating pictures is like designing; you need to have all the elements working together; shape, lines and function.

I’m gonna present this to you, one by one, as it’s easier to enjoy and digest them, rather than have them all thrown together -don’t rush! I’ll post the next one tomorrow!

Fashion is very often in some way…

…all around you! Did you know? Luckily it’s up to ourselves how we want to express, dress and look. What I love about hair is that it’s for everybody to use and you can cut it, dye it, curl it… you name it! Friday a week back, I had this article published in D2 which is about different kind of artists and their way of wearing their bangs. The funny thing about it is that all though they have it in some way or another, they look very individual each and every one of them -here’s a look for you! Why not try it for yourself if you haven’t…?

Heavily wakening…

… and light morning! I really enjoy the fact that there’s light outside when I wake up! :) I really had a hard time getting up now -I guess it’s like so when you’re working late nights… anyway -here’s something light and dreamy for you! Love the graphicness of this, and I think it’s so fun, when other hairstylist has been inspired by the same thing I’ve been inspired by myself… :)

You guys know…

… how busy I am, right? I’m sorry! I haven’t been able to post to you guys these last days! And I’m so happy to see that you’re actually checking in here to see if there’s anything new! AwEsOmE! :D A little boring I know, but from these latest shoots I’ve been to, I’m not able to show you anything, ’cause it’s a secret. But I’ll tell as soon as I can! ;) Meanwhile, here’s something phenomenal for you to look at! I really like how the shape of the hair is giving the dynamic contrast against the straight, graphic lines!
Loveit!

I’m very often called…

… the «Bag Lady» of my closest friends and colleagues. You can often see me dragging suitcases, bags, and all of that kind of a hairstylist’s stuff all around! I therefore just had to post this! The name of the editroial is striking, and of course, I love everything about it! It really shows that you don’t have to have the most expensive set design to make something really knocking shit…
enjoy this you guys! :)

Then Easter came…

I don’t know how it is for you guys, but to me, it seems that time is just freakin’ flying away! After getting home from Bergen, I’ve been so busy both with meetings, clients and stuff @ the salon, -and-(!) events, so I haven’t been able to post as much as I wanted to, but anyway;
thanks to my favorite flying company Norwegian I’m able to blog from the sky as I’m on my way home to my sweet home town Bodø. I need some time with my family now after everything that’s happened, but I won’t fail you; I promise to post to you guys as I’m round and about. Here’s some clean and calm, sleek and graphic eye-candy for you, it is Easter after all… ;)

After spending a whole week with…

… my grandparents, I feel so good about myself! I got to relax, sleep, have a good week of rest and I always feel so welcome by them! I guess you guys didn’t know, but my grandma is actually a tailor,
and her favorite material is something we have a lot in our country; wool.
I was so inspired by the material after being with her, she also shipped with me a lot of great garments, so when I came back to the big city, and came a cross this, well then… here it is!
